For the ones who are unaware, Bubble Guppies is a computer animated cartoon that started airing on Nickelodeon back in 2011 and is honestly very cute. This is a show about 6 (well, now 7) mermaid like children as well as their school teacher Mr. Grouper and their other underwater friends who are various other species of ocean animals.

8_The Engineered Robots

The Bubble Guppies are can talk and are aware of thoughts and feelings and this is because it’s a preschool cartoon, right? Real answer-yes, but this is just a theory which could be true, but is more unsettling and weird. It’s thought that the world of the Bubble Guppies take place in an artificial pond in a secret lab. As for the Bubble Guppies themselves, they aren’t actually lifeforms, they’re just robots created by these mad scientists. The same thing for Mr. Grouper. He’s not really a goldfish, he’s a robot designed to look like one. The theory then states these guppies were put in this process not only to create sentient sea creatures, but to see what kind of society they would create. It was thought that everything who be turned into a purge, but the se creatures turned out to get on so kindly together that we started letting little kids watch it.

7_The Endangered Species

This is a question that has been about since the beginning of the series asked by young and old. Many people, mainly parents of kids who watch Bubble Guppies wonder why we never meet the Bubble Guppies parents. We never meet a parent or any other adult merpeople. In fact, this theory states the Bubble Guppies may just be orphans who are the last of their endangered species.

6_Nonny has autism

Nonny is shown to be the quietest guppy on the show and only talks when answering a question. Why is this? Well, people believe that Nonny suffers from autism. One of the biggest clues to this is the fact that Nonny is shown to be incredibly smart, this is because people with autism can be a lot more intelligent than people without autism. He’s also shown to be very quiet, maybe that’s because people with autism may be shy and have fear of meeting new people.

5_The Mutated Humans

So, what can account for the Bubble Guppies human-like characteristic and features. It might be because the Bubble Guppies actually takes place in the future after a nuclear war. This war lasted for decades and almost all of humanity has died. However one group of kids actually managed to survive the attack, but were very badly mutated by the radiation. As a result, the Bubble Guppies are now the last of their species in a world where sea creature rebuilt society and they are now raised by there school teacher, Mr. Grouper.

4_Oona was abused

Oona is the purple bubble guppy who has some very interesting characteristics. She’s shown to be unusually shy and is the only guppy with her tale color up to her chest. Some people believe this is because Oona’s parents are abusive towards her. They would always harm and beat her calling her fat countless time. These countless childhood attacks have given Oona PTSD. This would explain why they can’t show any parents and why Oona’s so shy all the time-her PTSD is so severe that she looks out the window to distract her from her morbid thoughts.

3_Where Did The Baby Come From?

Back in 2016 the episode Bubble Baby shook the world. In this episode, Molly got a baby “sister” named Mia, but…SHOULDN’T THERE BE SOME PEOPLE ADDED TO THAT EPISODE!????!! Sorry but seriously! Who did the thing with who? Are fish and guppies supposed to try and have sex with each other or are two guppies supposed to, well…do whatever? I don’t know if we’ll ever get an answer though.

2_The Connection with Bikini Bottom

Well what do you expect?! Two shows, one topic, SEA CREATURES!

1_They Support Cannibalism

In one episode, Gobby has a tuna sandwich. One problem, tuna=fish, and fish live in the sea, with the guppies. Should I be considered?
