Re-edited another story, originally by NICKY BOY 18. Enjoy!

I'm sure plenty of people know about South Park. It's a show that aired on Comedy Central sometime around the late 90's, basically starring four kids as they go through their day-to-day lives while in the town of South Park, Colorado, hence the show's name. It's a lot better than it sounds, trust me.

I used to be a big fan of the show since I was little, even watching it almost religiously, but moved on to other things when I grew older. I still sometimes tune in on occasion, mostly to see what the newer seasons were like. Heard that one of the seasons wasn't particularly good, which was sort of inevitable given the show's long-running status.

You might be asking why I'm talking about South Park, aside from reminiscing about some childhood nostalgia and the like.

Well, it started about a month ago. I was at home watching some Disney movie. I think it might've been either one of the Direct-to-Video movies or some weird release from them. I was halfway through the movie when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled out my phone and saw that I received an email from Comedy Central, which read:

"Hello, Aidan. Since you're a fan of Comedy Central and that you like our stuff, we decided that we wanted to show you an deleted draft of a scene from South Park. Please download this file of the deleted draft of South Park. After viewing this deleted draft of Cartman Cancels His Own Birthday Party scene from South Park, please don't screen it anywhere. Comedy Central."

This was odd for a number of reasons. First, why would Comedy Central email a random person about one of their shows? Second, "deleted draft"? Deleted scene or episode I understood, but a deleted draft was an odd wording choice. Maybe they meant something else? The email was just simply "comedycentral1234", so I knew that whoever was behind the account was probably a scammer or someone trying to impersonate the company. Nonetheless, I checked the email further to see if there was anything in it aside from the initial introduction. Lo and behold, a zip file named "DO NOT DISTRIBUTE" was attached.

After pausing the movie, I went to my PC and started a virtual machine. I wasn't the smartest person in the world, but I would be dammed if I wrecked my PC over some South Park shit. I copied the link for the email and pasted it into the virtual machine, and downloaded the file, but not before scanning it to make sure there wasn't anything malicious in it. Call me paranoid, but I at least wanted to make sure. When it came back as clean, I unzipped the file.

There was a video file inside, titled "Cartman_CancelParty_DRAFT1.mov". Opening the file, the video started with a card showing the episode number, title, etc. as well as text reading "altered draft". Likely information for the animators or whoever is editing the episode. It then cut to the scene, showing Cartman, as well as a few other characters at what looked like a birthday party.

It then cut to Cartman, with a few presents surrounding him as well as a few balloons. He was wearing a red birthday hat with yellow spots on it. Cartman then spoke.

"Oooh, I wonder what Stan got me for mah birthday partay?"

Cartman opens his gift, revealing what looked like an odd blue biker sort of character.

"Oh look, a blue Mega Man. Thank you, Stan! You may eat pie and cake and ice cream now."

Stan then gets up from the table, and leaves off-screen.

This continued for a while, with each character's gift being opened, and the characters leaving after Cartman opened them. Some of them were in a storyboard-esque style, likely indicating that those specific scenes weren't complete yet. Then we get to Kyle's gift.

Cartman starts the routine, opening the gift while predicting a different colored "Mega Man" would be inside, in this case red. However, when Cartman opened the box... and all the sound effects and music stopped. I don't mean that in the music died down or something like that, I mean that all of the sound effects and whatever music was originally in the scene just cut out. A hastily-drawn scene then shows the inside of the box from Cartman's point of view: Ants in the Pants.

It cut back to Cartman, now with the gift on the table. This is where the scene diverged heavily from the original. The original had Cartman get mad, beat up Kyle in a cartoonish fashion, and cancel the party. In this version, Cartman didn't even move for a while and just kept staring at the box. The audio returned, now with various pieces of audio from different episodes (which was various segments where Cartman either yelled at or threatened Kyle in some manner).

Cartman started to twitch, before violently shaking. Cartman spoke, albite slightly distorted.

"Ants in the Pants?"

Kyle responded back.

"It's a game, dude. It's really fun! ...Cartman?"

Kyle's expression changed to a more concerned look. The scene then suddenly shifted to what I could only describe as corrupted. His eyes were completely sunken in, to a point of being completely black aside from a small, almost human-like eye glaring off-screen. His mouth was wide open, almost looking like he was screaming.

Cartmancorrupt

Cartman, now "corrupted".

The video noticeably degraded as the scene shifted to Cartman with the audio and video becoming low-quality and skipping at certain points. A voice, obviously not belonging to Cartman, screamed out.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

The voice didn't sound like Trey or Matt's usual voices for the characters, instead sounding... genuine? It's odd to explain, but the voice sounded like it was actually yelling at someone instead of just simply a character doing so. The best comparison I could give was someone about to engage in a fight. Regardless, "Cartman" tossed the game aside and lunged toward Kyle.

CartmanLunge

"Cartman" now fighting Kyle.

Instead of actual dialogue, "Cartman" bellowed loud, garbled screaming. Kyle screamed as the thing that was once Cartman threw him down to the ground.

"JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!"

Kenny tried to help Kyle, only for Cartman to thrust his arm through Kenny's chest, killing him instantly. The video then corrupted even more, with the audio devolving into a garbled mess while the visuals stayed on Kenny's now dead body. A few seconds after, the visuals cut out, leaving a black screen. The audio was now a mix of what sounded like a wild animal screeching and Kyle's screams. The sounds of something sharp cutting into flesh followed. After a bit of this, the audio was now that of someone gargling. The video finally returned to...

this.

Kyleisdead

Kyle's corpse.

Kyle's body was on full display. One of his eyes was ripped out and bleeding, while the other was bloodshot. His mouth was in a constant state of terror, one of his arms and legs were ripped off, causing his coat to be covered in blood.

I knew that South Park did gore, either for dramatic or comedic effect, but this was obviously much different. Suddenly, the scene cut to Cartman, now with a wide smile, as well as his eyes being completely black. The audio of a crowd laughing then played as the image of smiling Cartman stayed on-screen. It then cut to the rest of the scene as normal before finally ending.

I didn't really know what to think of what I just watched. I had a lot of questions, sure, but mostly just speculation at this point. I'm fairly certain that whoever made it was definitely not anyone at Comedy Central or the team at South Park given its nature, but who exactly made it? Why was it given to me of all people? Was it targeted? If so, why South Park of all things?

At this point, I'm probably going to upload the file to some archive site or YouTube if it allows it. I'll leave with some advice: if something is too good to be true, then it probably is. I was lucky that whatever that file was, it wasn't anything too malicious.
